She glanced at the door and back to Daclus and saying nothing, left in a hurry, practically leaping onto her lusus' back.
As the large deer ran through the forest she had to ask "Mother, why have I never met any one until now?" But there was no reply.

Too late.

After that pesterchum conversation, Arcemè thought it would be in her best interest to apologize. Waiting patiently until nightfall, she took some of her kill from the hunt and prepared it for the other troll as a peace offering.
Making her way to his hive, she knocked with some hesitance.

When he opened the door it wasn't what he was expecting.
"Oh. Hey."

It was her first time eating humble pie, but Arcemè held her head high regardless. "I have a peace offering." she attempted to sound light hearted about it.

"Oh." He held the door open, a disgruntled look on his face. Then he sighed, relenting. "Look, I'm sorry I flipped out on you. I guess I'm just used to people who do that stuff on purpose."

"I apologize for taking it so lightly. Here" She held out the cleaned meat of a hopbeast and the fur "if it displeases you I managed to find some volumes of history that you may not have." She didn't invite herself in, simply studied Daclus patiently.

Daclus stared at the meat for a second, as if not sure what to do. "Uh... thanks. Hold on just a second?"
Accepting the peace offering, he vanished into his hive. It was a few minutes before he was back, rubbing at the back of his neck anxiously.

Arceme had pulled the books out of the bag she had brought with her. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, fine." Liar. Daclus knew there was a decent chance she wouldn't even notice it. "Sorry, I just have a lot going on in my thinkpan, you know?"
She was pulling something out of her bag, what the...
"Uh, history books?" He gave her a perplexed look.

She nodded "It's something of a passion of mine. Why do you think I dove right into whatever you had on your shelves?" Arceme continued to study him but did not press the issue out of a highblood sense of politeness. Though she did say "If you are not feeling well I can come back another day"

Making a low "tch" noise in the back of his throat, Daclus shook his head. "It's fine. Just wondering about some stuff, I dunno."
"Anyway, come in. Can't have you just standing out there."

Arceme let out a sigh and finally seemed to relax. "I had forgotten that others tend to think as well. Thank you for the invitation in" the young troll followed Daclus into his hive. "I managed to find something....about my caste, of what little there is..." She felt as though she was being over careful about pushing the other's buttons but she felt it best to be cautious.

"And you feel it's important to tell me?" Daclus tucked his hands in his pockets, suddenly wary. "I don't think that's good news then."

"....I've just been curious about what my caste's history is, and you are the only other troll I actually see. I have not heard from Fiorth in some time..." Arceme stood up a little straighter, huffing a little. "Are you not the least bit curious about where we came from?" She took a defiant step closer to him, lower lip jutting out in an indignant pout.
